About My GEM Power

Listen inwardly to grow outwardly.

I don’t know about you, but I feel this is the most fraught, pivotal, complex and important time for a woman. The time when a woman can choose to pick up parts of herself that were left behind and reconnect with her core wisdom. The time for inner work.

Although my given name is Ursula, everyone calls me Gucci.

I am multi-disciplinary. I am an author, coach, change expert, Gestalt practitioner and stylist/image consultant.

I am daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, friend, and more. I was raised in a two- parent family; then in a one-parent one-child household. I have married (twice), divorced (once), birthed two children, been at the core of a blended family, seen five grandchildren arrive. I have grieved the loss of loved ones, experienced attempted suicide close up, supported my daughter and my mother through mental health trials and triumphs. I have given up everything familiar to move halfway across the world. I had a decades-long corporate career sandwiched between being a solo-preneur. And through all of this I questioned whether I was the right type of woman, whether I belonged, whether I was worthy?

Gucci is interested in what makes a woman feel she is stuck and restless.

Gucci is curious about what it takes to shift from a focus on happiness to joy.

Gucci embraces the idea that a woman continues to raise herself throughout life.

Gucci of My GEM Power sat at a table doing work on her laptop in front of a window and a light room.

Gucci studies the Mind, Brain and Body living system (what it is to be human).

Gucci hopes that a woman never shrinks herself to be on her best behaviour.

Today, I embrace...

Today I embrace contradictions and being unconventional.

I am me, unapologetically.

My lived experience and knowledge are resources and a guide for your journey.

I show up as myself

I have done what I consider to be the most difficult of things... to show up as myself.
